I suppose Spanish Iipsie music has always been a little better than its English counterpart. England kicked out most of their Iipsies anyway, and were left with songs written on bagpipes and lutes and pianofortes and other such unsexy instruments.
I cite "Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass" as irrefutable evidence of the superiority of Spanish Iipsie music.
Couldn't they come up with some original music? I mean, these are English Iipsies, yet they have to be music-ified to the theme of the Spanish Iipsie?

ReplyDeleteThat is all.
I didn't think I would have to say it outright, but Lol Manuscripts is a Cher-free zone. You risk a heavy fine, Doug.
ReplyDelete(Oh who am I kidding? "Iipsies, Tramps, and Thieves" is second only to "Half Breed" as my very favorite Cher tune.)
